With generous living spaces, air conditioning, a refreshing swimming pool, a pool table, gas burning fire and magnificent fire pit, all in a beautiful private setting, it is the perfect place for families and friends to relax, reconnect and create lasting memories.

Privately set across 43 peaceful acres in the heart of Pokolbin, Olive Ridge Estate can easily accommodate up to 30 guests in comfort and is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Hunter Valley.

The picturesque reservoir creates a beautiful focal point, with the landscape opening out towards rolling countryside, Olive groves and the distant hills. As the light changes throughout the day, the outlook takes on a different character—from the soft morning light across the water to the rich colors of sunset settling over the hills.

The setting feels wonderfully quiet, spacious and secluded, yet the property remains conveniently close to the Hunter Valley’s wineries, restaurants, wedding venues and concert locations.

The property comprises the six-bedroom, four-bathroom Homestead and the four-bedroom, two-bathroom Lodge, positioned approximately 60 meters apart and within easy walking distance of one another. This place is setup for large groups with indoor and outdoor dining table that will seat up to 28 guests in one sitting

The Homestead blends modern comfort with relaxed country charm. Spend sunny days beside the swimming pool, enjoy long lunches in the spacious outdoor entertaining area, or gather everyone together around the generous dining tables, which seat up to 30 guests. During the cooler months, curl up in front of the indoor fireplace and enjoy the warmth and atmosphere of a true country escape.

As the sun begins to set, gather around the large outdoor fire pit overlooking the reservoir. The water, open countryside, and distant hills create a wonderfully peaceful backdrop as the afternoon light fades into evening. It is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of local wine, share stories beneath the open sky, and appreciate the stillness and beauty of the surroundings. The large, well-equipped kitchen makes catering for a crowd easy, while multiple living areas provide plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Enjoy a friendly game around the pool table, let the children relax in one living area while the adults entertain in another, or simply find a quiet corner to unwind. With air conditioning, six bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a convenient single-level layout, the Homestead is also well suited to guests with young children or limited mobility.

Warm, welcoming, and full of character, Olive Ridge Lodge completes this wonderful country retreat. Offering four bedrooms and two bathrooms, the Lodge has a quirky retro country style that makes guests feel immediately at home. It includes air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, a coffee machine, a fire pit, and a selection of sporting equipment for guests to enjoy. It also has numerous outdoor entertainment areas. Olive Ridge Homestead and Lodge offers a premium Pokolbin location, magnificent rural views, and the rare opportunity to accommodate a large group across two private homes. Whether you are cooling off in the pool, challenging friends to a game of pool, relaxing beside the indoor fireplace, or gathering around the fire pit as the sun sets over the reservoir and surrounding hills, this is a special property that truly needs to be experienced.

  • Kalamata Room: One king bed or two king single beds (2)
